After a hectic tour of five countries, the PM has not rested but has called all the ministers to evaluate their performances. The nearly four-and-a-half-hour marathon introspection, in the presence of the Cabinet Secretary and the Head of NITI Aayog, was conducted through a PPT to understand performance and guide further improvement, the source says. Based on the performances, the ministries and their respective ministers were also given marks, the source says. It's been said, as per top sources, that no more than six ministers could get the A+ category. The others were cautioned to improve and make direct contact with the public across pan-India through their departments, and, if not possible, to take help from party functionaries to arrange programs for the ministry, the source says.  The exercise of monitoring was closely watched by the PM himself, and it's a rumour in the corridors that, on the basis of performance, the cabinet is likely to change its face, a source says.
