    G. Venkataraman, IPS officer, Tamil Nadu 1994 batch, who is presently posted as DG Administration, Chennai, has been transferred to DG CID, with the post upgraded from ADG Civil Supplies and CID. He served as the former DGP of Tamil Nadu (on Interim charge).
